Carbon For Charging (Anthracite)
At the beginning of the charging phase, Carbon For Charging is added to the ladle with scrap metal and other raw materials.
The high carbon content of Carbon for Charging ensures efficient transfer of carbon to the molten steel and aids in melting scrap through providing heat and reducing the melting point of the mixture.
